The Chemistry Lab is structured while keeping all the statutory norms and safety standards. It is well ventilated as well as spacious. It has some of the most accurate digital measuring instruments needed for the chemical measurement like analytical balances and electronic balances required for performing experiments and project work.
The laboratory workspace is in the form of slabs with all chemicals and reagents. The laboratory has all safety precautions in place.
The students research detailed structures, morphological and physiological aspects of plants and animals in the laboratory. Examining slides under the microscopes or examining the museum specimens creates a deep passion for nature and a love of understanding the flora and fauna that surrounds us.
All of the equipment and specimens are open to use under careful supervision. With the availability of laboratory facilities, children have the freedom to make models and projects. In addition, beautifully painted and well labelled diagrammatic representations of various specimens are present as per CBSE standards.
The budding scientists perform experiments to test hypothesis about various scientific phenomena. We have a number of apparatus that can be used to measure such as dimensions of objects, viscosity, friction force, pressure, frequency, resistance etc. In our lab, we ensure that learners comprehend theoretical concepts by doing experiments themselves. It is more fun to learn through practicals and experiments than usual classroom lectures.
Our science labs allow students to gain hands-on experience of what they learn in the classroom.. Apart from the three subject labs, we also have a Composite Science Lab where younger students are encouraged to observe and conduct science experiments related to their current classroom topics under the guidance of their teachers. This allows young kids to get a feel for the lab set up and also generates curiosity and excitement in them about different scientific phenomena.
The Mathematics laboratory is a place where students experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where they find a collection of games, puzzles, and other teaching and learning material. The materials are used both by the students on their own and with their teacher to explore the world of mathematics, to discover, to learn and to develop an interest in mathematics. The activities create interest among students who wants to explore, and test some of their ideas, beliefs about mathematics.
Children need assistance with respect to learning, emotional and behavioral difficulties observed in school.
GMA has a counsellor to the students. Counsellor also suggest suitable interventional remedies to handle difficulties and help the students with career related issues. She acts as a mediator between the teacher, the students and administration.
Technology aided learning is an integral part of the school curriculum. The Junior Section has a modern and well-equipped IT Lab with 20 computers connected by LAN with internet facility. The computer sessions and internet access are monitored and supervised by computer teachers who aid and guide the children through the sessions.
We have separate Senior It Lab for classes IX to XII. The Audio Visual room with its resource facilities has a full sized projection screen to be used for presentation by children, teachers and guest speakers which aid in making the learning experience multi dimensional. Computer Science is an integral part of the Academic Curriculum and is compulsory for students from Class I onwards. NIIT Computer Aided Learning syllabus is integrated with the CBSE curriculum.
A school library is a structure with the school that houses a collection of books ,audio visual material and other content that serves common use to meet the educational, informative and recreational needs of users. School library is really important part of every school. The library is thus a leap in the advancement of the literacy provided in classrooms .Education and library cannot exist alone and are inseparable. In GMA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL HOSHIARPUR, we have a pretty big junior library with more than 1 thousand books in it. All books are Divided into several sections.There is a vast collection of comics, educational books ,GK books , story books etc. Library provides spiritual ,inspirational, informative and interesting reading experience to junior students. Our library is a perfect place to study because it is very calm and silent. Our school library has positive impact to academic performance of students. It helps the little students develop the overall skills necessary to succeed in modern day digital and social environment.

The primary wing of GMACPS has been innovatively designed to provide home like atmosphere for imparting education under Montessori system and activity based learning program to students . It is recognised that the age from 2 to 7 year is the most impressionable period of child's growth. At GMACPS the aim of primary wing is to provide learner an education system which enable them to enhance their personal acquire skills and knowledge. Our day starts with prayer reverberating throughout the campus. This creates a warm, welcoming ambience for the children when they enter the school in the morning. In morning assembly, students gather in the large and spacious assembly area where they themselves conduct the morning’s proceedings. The occasion is a lively one with students playing musical instruments like the keyboard, harmonium, and tabla to accompany the prayers, hymns and songs performed by the school choir. National and religious festivals are also commemorated by way of speeches, skits, and other artistic forms. After the assembly is over, the children disperse in an orderly manner to a slow marching beat.
